Microsoft Announced New Windows 10 1809 Update - 'October 2018 Update'

Microsoft in a presentation at the ongoing IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin) announced its next Windows 10 feature upgrade, the "Windows 10 October 2018 Update."

Microsoft is yet to publish a release date for the upgrade, but it's virtually certain that the Windows 10 October 2018 Update will show its face in October, not September.

Roanne Sones, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft wrote in a blog that the update will have new features and enhancements for over 700 million devices running Windows 10.

Microsoft also revealed its first Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 powered Always Connected PC: the Lenovo Yoga C630 WOS (Windows on Snapdragon), as it continues to focus on its plan on connected PC experiences.

Microsoft launched Lenovo's Yoga Book C930 focused on creativity and productivity for the mobile user; Dell's Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 Another great productivity PC with a ‘Modern Standby’ feature; the Microsoft's Surface Go; and Acer's Predator Triton 900 for the gaming fans alongside the updated Windows 10 version.

The last update for Windows 10 from the tech giant came in April.
